| i think this thread is one of the classic examples of a lot of peoples ideas on getting into deck making. a lot of people think it is easy work and you buy a mold and start making huge amounts of money. far from it in fact......deck making takes years to perfect. im still learning new tricks and techniques even now. making decks well is in fact something that takes a lot of patience, practice, skill and most important id say experience....its not something you can do well in a short space of time. i think this thread demonstrates that in some ways one day your decks will be epic if you keep at it.......if you really want to succeed you will do with time and can we stop laughing now everyone i think husker now understands what it takes. |

| try making the holes more centered and make the kicks shorter&more round. also it looks like you cut the shape out with a saw or something? try using a belt sander or disc sander |

| From my limited experience, take your time. When I've lost patience and cut corners I've ended up with kicks too short, not symmetrical, holes out of whack...show each deck love and attention and you'll be rewarded for it. |
