Damn...only just noticed the dimensions of the dumpster than...its WAY too small to be 'scale'...only 2inches high :/

Now THIS bad boy on the other hand looks perfect! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DIY-GREEN-DESKTOP-DUMPSTER-GRAFFITI-TYOTOYS-/281682738158?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4195997bee

The first one is still WAY too small to be considered 'scale'...and the shipping containers are quite off scale also :/ Particularly seeing as shipping containers are generally 20+ feet in length...that the container would be roughly 80cm tall if it where in 'real life' as oppose to 8 feet :/

www.Vaudevilleskate.com has plenty of scale obstacles. He's a fingerboarder/artist who paints, stickers, and tags handmade miniatures.

Here's a few of Vaudeville obstacles from my collection:

He also takes custom orders...just picked up a custom newsstand that I'll post soon afro

Vaudeville's Stuff is spectacular!!

Just to prevent any further confusion (at least on my part lol) lets establish a general scale. I'm not quite sure if this is correct, but if you assume an average fingerboard is 4 inches long, and an average skateboard is 32 inches long, then that gives us 4/32, or 1/8 scale. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@GeraldineMilne: Awesome collection mate! Vaudeville are EASILY some of my favourite fingerboard obstacles...the sidewalk with sewer cap is truly SUPERLATIVE in every sense! I actually just emailed them yesterday to see if that would post to Australia...so needless to say I am placing a rather large order through them this week happy
*Already have a number of their products linked to this thread very happy

I really want to see Vaudeville do scale newspaper stands and such though. Their current selection of stands are about half the size of 'scale' models...but they look freaking ace as!

@Jimydave: What you say sounds about right...I wont lie, I am no expert with working out EXACT scales...I usually work off the size of a real skateboard and roughly scale it down from there happy

The only bad thing is that as far as I can tell, the largest scale most things are sold at is 1/12. We might just have to settle with slightly undersized obstacles awkward .

best place to go is to http://www.minimaterials.com/ they have cinder blocks similar to the one's on flatface and you get more for what you're paying for.

Those cider blocks look great for building ledges and the likes! Might have to get some for the plaza I am building very happy

As for pallets...the best value I have ever seen are the ones from Mitt Skateboards: http://mittskateboards.com/en/27_fingerboards.html They would probably do you a deal on 4+ too.

only problem that i had with them is that they seems to be kinda fragile. i was trying to put one down with fun tack and it crumbled in my hand. although, i elevated a curb on them and have been fingerboarding on it since last night. they seem to be holding up pretty well!

I actually just ordered some mini cinders from Flatface a few days back. Price-wise they are very comparable to others I have seen: http://www.flatfacefingerboards.com/concrete-cinder-block-4-pieces/

Absolutely LOVE the flower-style blocks they do too:
http://www.flatfacefingerboards.com/concrete-flower-block-1-piece/
Thinking about getting some as a side-ledge for a custom stair set very happy

@gfb: Oh damn...sucks they seem so fragile...thanks for sharing to let others know. Hope the others bricks you brought last a bit longer.

The owner had sent me 4 blocks for free so I was never out of money. I wasn't too mad about it bounce
