Subject: which fingerboarding video is "the one" to show? Sun May 10, 2015 4:21 pm
Maybe this is a quick question.
What do you guys/girls think is the best fingerboard video to show people that have no clue what fingerboarding is all about.
A video that can get people interested to start.. maybe xD not just a video with an awsome dude doing sweet tricks.
At work when people ask what i do as a hobby, i say that i fingerboard and i always have to explain that it's not a toy etc etc etc but when i'm able to show what i can do they often get really excited and had no clue that you could do all that on a fingerboard

This is actually the video i show people most of the time, but it doesn't show the community and the meet ups with all people of all ages

You're right... you can explain it to people as much as you want, but nothing quite shows it better than a video.
For me personally, I've always just shown my curious friends some of my own videos. Sure, there's tons of great videos to show people (like have been posted already) but most people who know YOU might want to see YOU doing it instead of some random stranger they can't relate to. Just my opinion
I also usually show them one of my meetup/event videos so they can see just how big it actually is.
I showed this video to a friend a couple days ago and they thought it was pretty neat:

I showed this video to my friend and she was like "Some guys are riding little skateboards with their fingers, how fantastic it is..."
I thought it explains the scene perfectly...
