i have a ton of pairs of 29mm trucks and i'm gonna try smaller decks, is there anyway to make oak rv2's compatible with them?

only know that it's possible with old oak wheels when you shape the hanger. maybe you can make it so thin, that the rv2s will fit

They work on Chinese trucks, but you need to use washers or the insides will get chewed up.

This is what I run as standard. Either shape the hangers (unless you are using the newer black trucks, which are ready fit) or use conical washers, which come with most tdlbs for the kingpins, on the wheels. They sit inside the oaks perfectly and also add the perfect amount of length to stop wheel wobble.

This works for rv1 and RV2 oaks. The only downside is if you don't use locknuts, very occasionally a wheel will pop. As long as you remember to tighten up every now and then it's not a huge problem though.
