Sup guys. I haven't posted here in a while but I was just wondering if I should make an IG again? The people in the FB community were people I talked to a lot in the summer/last year. But, I've received alot of dislike through the comm. which is why I deleted my fb stuff. I am just hesitant on getting back on IG. Are people still active on there?

IG takes up a lot of the scene now. A pretty shitty place and a pretty good place, just gotta decide which side you wanna sit in.

IG is where you should go if you want to catch up with the scene quickly. Honestly it's great for quick clips here and there but other than that there's really no substance. It's like sprinkles on ice cream. They're nice little additions but you're really here for the ice cream and IG gives you way too many sprinkles and barely a scoop of vanilla.

yeahh make an ig. i know most people on here would decide against it but i've met the majority of ppl i spek to on the daily thru insta. there will be some assholes on there but for the most part it's been a great experience for me!

I feel like Instagram has taken a huge toll on the fingerboard scene since 2014. People post company updates, quick clips, trades or sales, etc.. Then there are those 13 year old's constantly on peoples pages asking for free product, etc.. I personally like what it has to offer, you're able to get the inside scoop of peoples upcoming products, companies, etc.. It's cool, I mean you're able to get some products before they even hit the market. But personally it's a yes for me.

It's like walking into an art gallery filled with drooling morons. You kind of want to stay and look at the pictures but the constant retarded behaviour is really distracting.

You really need to go through and weed-out people after awhile. Like I added anyone that had "fb" in their name (or fingerboarding) and had tons of crap posts. I keep going through and keeping only the people with decent content and it's been a lot better experience. Also the kids selling rubber band bracelet bushing and left over grip tape from their skate board is hilarious.
