PostSubject: A U.K fingerboard shop   Fri Feb 25, 2011 6:03 pm

Ok would you guys come and visit and support an actual shop (not online) in Manchester.
So yes It would be a proper pro shop with lots of different companies supporting, we would be a distribituor and also custom made ramps.
It would be me and some others opening it.
This is not definate but I will be considering it if I get some people supporting the idea.
And also where would be a good place in Manchester ?

Thankyou,
Jacob Burke

P.S I would wan't it to be successful so please would you support and buy.
Any important questions email me @ jacobburke1@hotmail.com (no caps Wink

to be honest, i just don't see this working and being able to survive long. You can have all the products in the world..... but i just don't think there are enough fingerboarders in UK, or even Manchester, to keep the shop going.......... and as an 11 year old, i don't understand how you expect to open a shop?

Thats what she said. Anyway, I think it would be better if it was in a central area. Manchester is a trek for some people.. London? Or somewhere in the middle IDK

No. You're not old enough to open a shop tbh, and there arn't enough people to keep it running, in the UK let alone Manchester :/

Do you have any idea how much it costs to rent a store? You have to make a LOT of money to make any profit at all. Not only are the rents ridiculous, but you have to pay staff as well. You're not going to be making much money at all and definitely not enough to cover the rent for the store. The only way it could work is if it's either a toy + fingerboard store, or a skateboard + fingerboard store. Not to mention you're 11. Just don't bother for your own sake.

Black river a huge fingerboard company only jut managed to open a shop. i highly doubt this will work in manchester, there just not enough people that would travel to manchester just to buy a fingerboard. :/

Even the pop factory in America is struggling to stay open so it would really be a miracle if this one does.
