There was a post about using lotion on your foam tape to increase it's grip, but I figured that this needed it's own topic. If not, I do apologize in advance Surprised
I've been using this stuff for when my fingers are just too slick to grip my board. i.e. right after washing hands or getting out of the shower.

Finger moistener for handeling paper and money

This stuff works great! It's very cheap and can be found at most dollar stores. It only requires a tiny bit to get the grip you need. x)

Just thought it'd be a good tip for some people. Does anyone else use this stuff, or can I safely gloat about my new found discovery? Razz

^Its just hand gel that people who have swinefluphobia carry in their bag, really cheap and found at somewhere like boots xD

I don't use it, I just rub my hands on my shirt if they're greasy and everything works fine!

That and if you notice most foam tape collects debris and dust like crazy... Then all that shit gets stuck to your fingers because they are wet... Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Sad

I spray alcohol and wipe my hands on my pants. Just wiping makes my hands feel dirty.

Haha, it doesn't make your fingers wet, guys xP. You just use a tiny bit of it and rub it in, and it makes your fingers moist so that you can handle paper and stuff better. Kinda like hand sanitizer, rub it in and it dries, but still makes your hands moist and grippy. It will make them wet and greasy-like if you use a ton of it, and that probably will cause some serious discomfort, but I don't use nearly that much. The two URL images I tried to add aren't showing up for some reason :/

Is it that pink stuff? If it is I'd suggest it too. But I only used that to handle newsletters. It may feel greasy when you rub your fingers after you put some on but... it's like magic and isn't greasy against object. xD I may try it :] Thanks for tip!

The kind I've used is clear, but they may make pink kind too xP. I don't like the greasy feeling and don't want it on my tape, so I use tiny amounts and wipe it back off afterwards. Gives you sticky fingers Razz

I have no problems with any type of foam tape. I've only had this problem with fine griptape.
