So I have been looking at review of the BRR's. It a fairly large investment, considering I would get some BRR Edition Wheels. So what I need to know, is it worth $75.00? Would you go get another set today (if you already have them). This should help me personally, and alot of other people who are debating. Thanks!

Yup I would say they are definitely better. Reasons:
Make grinding so much smoother Look freaking awesome Wheels fit tight to the truck, no wobble Stay set the way you want so no frequent adjusting Trucks pop back into place for better performance Make your board feel like they have weight instead of light and flimsy
I mean of course they aren't necessary but they definitely improve performance and are worth it. You do not need brr wheels though. I have g7.1zs and they work fine.

Yes they are worth it, and I would buy another set (already have 3 tho lol). Everything that victoria said hit em right on the nose...My only complaint is that the baseplates are a little thin, so you can very easily strip the mounting holes if your not careful when tightening them. Just dont crank on em and youll be ok. Another great thing that I love about them is the replaceable parts. Being able to change an axle if you bend it is awesome...And you dont have to get BRR specific wheels. Any of the winkler wheels work perfect (I prefer the d-rex clockworks), as do the dual bearing like victoria's if you glue the nuts on. You can also use pretty much any single bearing wheel just by following my tutorial. That way you can spend $4 bucks at walmart instead of $39-$60 for a new set of wheels...

What everyone else has said basically.. if I wasn't saving money for skateboarding/didn't see the point atm of owning two pairs of uber trucks, then, yea, I'd get them. They perform soo good, you cant imagine it until you try it but it makes td trucks, even shaped tuned nice ones, look like turd.
Yea, only thing is, if your deck is thick you can strip part of the threading, but, thats just a case of don't get a SILLY thick deck, like, a bwnm is as thick as they can be I think. UNLESS you get longer screws, in which case, you're totally sorted on any deck. And even if the deck is thicker, they may stay on anyway, just, they can partially dethread, like mine did. But they'll be fine when I set them up on a g12 when mine comes, as the thread at the top that isn't mashed will hold the trucks in place (hopefully )
Brr edition wheels are good if you've not got tools + don't feel like modding wheels, I'd be a little uneasy doing it to something soo expensive. But, if you're already got single bearing wheels, then, I'd mod them, unless you want new wheels. In which case, substance brr editions are amazing and a good price And as has been said, dual bearing wheels work fine with a tad of super glue. You just need some glue and a paperclip.
Get them, they're worth the money. I mean, they're expensive, yea, and thats caused a lot of people to get Ytrucks, but, personally I don't think those look as nice, and they're apparently heavier. I mean they're both good trucks though, I want to try a pair of yellow X2 ytrucks because they look interesting.
So, what ever you do, its a brilliant worth it buy getting proper made for fingerboarding non td trucks, you'll be amazed how you could use td trucks before. I've been not using my brrs this week, waiting for my g12 to come, and, AHHH. You know how shit my td wides feel? its ridiculous..
Buy some and you wont look back

Yea, I think I will now get a pair.
Also, where should I get them from. Which do you prefer, BRR or Flatface?

brt are the best performing truck. end of.
they are also dam expensive, i cant justify the price myself, but i will be buying another set, although i wish i could only be paying £30 for them.
brt are the lightest trucks, and replaceable parts is good.
they do have many issues though...as do most things. also i would personally only recommend brr ed wheels.....modded single bearing wheels will work.....but ive had trouble with the bearings locking up and stuff with hardcore use on my few sets....
personally i agree with most things said, they are great, but to fully appreciate them i think you have to try all the other trucks availible.......they wont turn you into a better fber, but they are the business

yea? but their not what u said......they have ff brr ed 'a' material which are shaped like g7.1s with one bearing, which i own.....but no brr ed g6 'a'????
Subject: Re: Are BRR's all they are cracked up to be? Sun Apr 18, 2010 7:05 pm
I think hes just calling them g6 cos they're single bearing wheels, easy mistake to make.
I thought the ff brr ed wheels were bigger than g7.1s, even though same shape? Like, my substances are the nicest shape + material, bigger than g7.1s though. They look massive for now but they're super nice

i thought there was new wheels i didnt know about
yea, the ff brr ed white ones are bigger, kinda like g4s.....but the newer ff brr ed 'a' are shapped like g7.1s with a single bearing...there was a thread mike made about them on ffi

yep those are the ones i have miles i havent had a chance 2 ride them properly yet though...one of them had a real bad defect and ive had to send it back....still waiting for my replacement, as 3 are no good....also this situation with the volcano dust.....thats causing major problems to international post times.
and yes kerry. the two ff brr ed wheels are totally different.....the 'a's are shaped like g7.1s and the others look to be the same size and shape as g4s. i havent tried a set though, im only going by what ive seen in pics

its up to you really? they do roll smooth yes, its just unlucky that one of mine was defective....my favorite brt wheels STILL are my winkler brr ed. they dont have as nice a shape as say substance, or the ff brr ed 'a's, but ive never had any problems with them, and the material is one of the best i own in all my wheels imo...they are great if you like the squeek when u bluntslide
my substance brr ed wheels are great, ff are good too, and winkler brr ed are superb

Volcano is being blown out of proportion I reckon, they've done test flights, they're fine.. The world needs to get back to working order now. 'Safety' first, how are people safe when they're stuck places they cant leave due to no flights? Its not like its the first volcano to go off, other places in the world have volcanos and they dont stop the entire hemisphere because of it. Bah.
And ahhh, fair enough. Yea, my substance wheels are almost td wheel size, which I think is like g4 size, g7.1s are a fair bit smaller.. but, I like the feel of my substances a lot
