Why is it that when I have time to film a mini, I cant land shit! When the camera isnt goin I'm cool...but when I hit that little rec button, everyting goes to hell!! I'm not camera shy, or at least I tell myself that lol...anyone else have this problem?

actually I do, its more of a trying to impress the people who are going to be watching the video, it also happens when im skating.

this happens to me with fingerboarding, skating and bmx...

Its subconsious. What you need to do is let the camera run, walk away get a drink or something and come back and just dont even picture the camera is there. No special angles or anything. Listen to music it helps a lot

but see you have some good stuff on vid...I got nothin!!! Oh well try again another day. I really want to get a decent mini up for everyone. I get asked at least 2 times a day to make a mini lol...

The camera itself doesnt distract me, but i get pissed off if i cant get somthing infront of it.

i get really jarred when i cant land stuff......i allways say to myself aswell, 'right im not making my cup of tea until i land such and such'....sometimes i get parched........i imagine its gonna be the same if i had a cam on, only worse

I tend to do that kind of thing in skating, like when im trying a trick.

I suppose the main reason it happens to me is because I am not relaxed when I'm filming I think it's due to when it's on camera you focous on landing that one think

I do that all the time. Ill be like..if I dont land this trick then I cant go to the bathroom haha.

one reason it sux a$$ is cause i get like 3 or 4 hours of footage with only about 40 seconds that I actually landed somethin other than basic grinds/slides. So by the time I import it and everything and go thru it all and cut out the bad stuff it takes me almost all day lol...
