Title.
I got a cnc mold and wanted to know if you guys would use a mold that has its wheel base spread out more than usual. It may be 102mm im trying to make it look kinda boxy in a way so that it is 100 mm

How do you feel about this.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area.

2mm longer than bw doesn't give much room to change the wheelbase, unless the kicks are really short..
So, I'd have to see pictures to make an informed decision. happy

i dont really get what your saying?.....i would say stick to the tried and tested, most decks ive come across have a wheel base around a bw09, which is the same as a tech deck etc,etc....but some companys make the kicks longer and it makes the boards top heavy and not feel right......a longer wheelbase would be something like a g12.....theres not much in it really, but it makes a hellofa difference to performance...........if your pressing a deck and just sticking a wheelbase on it, id say youve gotta be real lucky for it to work out......the best decks need experimenting with wheelbases, kick lenths, decklenths etc........ happy

just mold a bw09 and stick to the wheelbase, id buy them very happy

naaa, honestly you cant do that...

I just got a deck out of the mold it is very weird shaping it myself because I use a deck template but I too my template and traced it onto it and just aligned up the dips on one side and trace to about halfway then turned it around =] hopefully it works, since its a test mold im just going to go staight to power sanding

I just trace onto it, holding it as still as possible. It works =]
