| i have already said, i have an old lego train set and i was able to modify the speed control. so i can have go pretty slow or fast. |

| I think it has real potential,my park is on a set of base kitchen cabintets running 15'.I have always had trouble filming cause its up against a wall in my shop, I already have tons of ho scale diseal engines and track,so I may take a go at this if u don't mind. |

| Personally, I don't think it will work very well.
You have to have the camera very low (as it is filmed in skateboarding) so you might have to have the track lower.
You have to tweak the speed so that it matches the speed you skate and do tricks at. It will be more complicated to program speed changes if you go faster at certain parts, such as the stair set at the end.
You may have to use a very wide lens and one that is physically very small too. This is so that the camera gets everything (fingers, whole board, obstacle above ground, tricks above ground, stair set lower than ground). Or you will have to find some way to be able to program the camera to tilt up and down as you do tricks and go down the stairs.
One main issue is that depending on which way you ride it, and I am assuming it is designed more for riding it with your body on the side where the track is, your arm may obscure or hit the camera as it is moving.
Hope you've considered these things and other potential problems. |
