Shipping & Handling: First of all let me say that the owner of AceFB is very professional and easy to work with, he answered all of my questions very quickly and shipped out my product very fast. The tape only took 6 days to arrive to me from Belgium, I was expecting longer shipping time so I was very excited when it came early
!
First Impressions: The very first thing I noticed was the width of the tape, it is very wide at approximately 40mm so it should fit on any deck! Next thing I noticed is that the tape is very porous. A lot like RIP tape but thinner, it’s also thinner than FBS tape so I decided to set it up on my Samurai deck with medium kicks and a mellow concave; perfect for thin tape.
Performance: Cutting the tape was very easy to do, I went around the edges with a blade and it came right off.
The tape feels real nice on your fingers and hugs the shape of your deck real well, it is ideal for medium to low kicks and low concave boards. The porous feature of the tape made it feel really worn-in from the start but I still had to use it a bit in order to get the real ‘worn-in’ feel.
I am used to smooth tapes so the large pores on this tape gave me a very different and very good performance while using it.
Negatives: Nothing really negative to say about this tape, the price is nice, shipping is fast, it performs great. Maybe offer Pre-cut packs to people who don’t like cutting tape!
Overall I give this tape a 10/10, it is excellent and I recommend it to anyone looking to try some fresh tape!
