hey guys! i have this awsome idea for something that i think would be awsome fun.


so i plan on making a full lenth fingerboarding dvd, , and it will feature clips from members of the fourm. anybody can take part in it.

each part must at least 2 minutes

i can burn the movie on to many many blank cd's because i get them for free.

everybody needs to edit there own part.

I think this is a bit ambitious, especially if you're asking for 3 minute parts from everyone. Also, what about new members? 1 hour long video with minimum 3 minute parts means 20 parts or less.

I joked in chat that you would need about 1000 parts from Holden if you wanted all the members.

i only like this because i can edit my part with whatever song i like and youtube won't block it

if you would get alot of members to do it and give some time i'm good with it

Something you'll need to consider is camera quality If it's going to be a dvd you'll want mainly good quality cameras!

yes that is what i was thinking danny, and yes this project is going to probably be finished around december or january so you have plenty of time

also sirgold, i know a way that youtube cant block your song.

1) download song from youtube with www.vidtomp3.com
2) put song in a music project on any music editor
3)save that project
4) use that project, which is actually the song you want, into your video
5) upload your video

What you do is ruin the sound quality so that it doesn't get recognized.

If you had a lot of people participating, 2 minutes is a bit long don't you think? Don't get me wrong it's a sick idea but maybe cut down the time to 1 minute maybe?

im in.. but what kind of editing system do you have? do you know what your doing? i dont want to sound like a douche but im just saying get some practice before you intoduce a idea like this.
