YOU are tiny on here. Why don't you start making your products at first and stop using fingerboarding as a moneymaking business, since lovedrug makes his own products for the love of fingerboarding and to provide people with actual high quality fingerboards. Mikkel may sell imported goods, but at least he doesn't mark them up 34928% and atleast he makes people aware that they're buying China products. If you've started making your own products, by creating an own shape and creating the decks by putting the veneer in the mold yourself, shaping it carefully, drilling good holes and lacquer them, you might have a chance to become known as a respected company.

Mikkel sells his decks for cheap because not everyone can buy expensie decks, he barely gets profit from deck making, but he still does it to provide people with cheao high quality carefully handmade decks, he sells his china stuff for a fair price, the profit he wins from the china stuff he sells goes to KEEPING HIS DECKS CHEAP, but you, you sell china mega overpriced and help contribute nothing to the community, Mikkel is one of the most helpful guys in this forum, he doesn't care about profit that much, you should maybe take lessons from Mikkel and start pointing out stuff that aren't even true

Please take my post and others' as words of advice and not a personal attack.

The claims that you are negative to the scene are justified as follows:
You resell Chinese products at a high mark up. This takes away potential customers of other brands making quality products. In addition, you do not do anything for the scene. All of this money disappears. If people purchased other brands of fingerboard products, you would expect some of the money to be spent into developing new and fresh products which benefit the hobby as a whole. Some of the money would also be spent in sponsoring talented and positive fingerboarder representatives, sponsoring events, holding contests and distributing other samples for better exposure. I've seen none of this from you.

These things are what sets other companies apart from companies that mainly rebrand Chinese products.

There's no need to attack Mikkel/Lovedrug. Lovedrug is a respectable fingerboard company despite its small size. It is also an important Danish distribution that offers products to Denmark and the surrounding European area. The goal is not to have a high profit margin with low quality products, we better the scene by offering good quality at reasonable prices.

The FBHQ community is here to support companies. Don't take this as an attack but as help. Lots of brands have grown from here and it's important to take in the feedback and suggestions from the community. I'm sure the company owners would agree but Fingersized, Fusion, Blosom, Lovedrug, Pure, Temple, Dooby/Forgiven, OG and cartwheels would have a lot more difficulty if it wasn't for the collective words of FBHQ.

It's also even better for a community to identify with owners or team riders. Many company owners on this forum actively engage in fingerboard discussion and post videos. Please consider this.

No sir, i am not joking. You buy china products of low quality and sell to kids who doesn't know better, that's negative to the scene.

Every stock i have had on the store has sold out pretty fast. No i don't produce 1000 boards at a time, but that's because i take care and make sure that every board is as good as i can make it. It is easily enough for me to "keep the fingerboard passion going"..

I haven't tried a china deck that was black and had a skull under it, but i have tried china decks and they are decent at best. The problem is that you sell them for high prices and you are obviously into this for the money and not to help the scene evolve. There is no inovation in what you do. You simply buy a product and resell it with your trademark on.

I do NOT call myself a company. My website is made of a free template, because that's all i need. I make sales by having good products, not a fancy website. Something you could learn a bit from. And i am very pleased with my logo btw. At least it's a bit more original than a skull in a circle

I never claimed to be able to support fingerboarding alone, but you know what? If you look at the scrolling logos in the top banner you will see a bunch of original "companies" that actually contributes to the scene. These are made only by people from this forum. And you know what? This forum is far from the whole scene. There are lots of original "companies" out there who makes products because they love fingerboarding and not because they want money.

Blackriver Ramps, Yellowood, Substance Wheels, Evolve Fingerboards, Screw Fingerboards, Zonawood, Karma.. Just to mention a few that are not in the banner.


Also, i don't mind being discriminating against companies that does not help evolve the scene. If you want to be a "real company" and make some money on fingerboarding, could you at least do it with original products? please!
