Simon didn't deserve to be banned.

simon was only banned for a day, he's no longer banned. he asked to have his account deleted. I'd happily welcome him back and don't have any negative thoughts towards him what so ever - all he has to do if he wishes to be here is make another account.

But even that ban was a little hissy fit-ty, it was a debate after all.. I don't think Simon was "being a dick" at all, he was being realistic.

perhaps that was slightly harsh wording on my part, but it was mainly the fact that I asked people to cool it and despite that he continued to do so. AND he went way beyond the field of debate and insulted Mikkel by telling him to get a fucking life.

I don't want this to spiral into another argument - you're entitled to think what you think and I apologise if I didn't handle that situation in the best way possible, to everyone involved. It sucks simon wanted his account deleted and I hope one day he comes back, but who knows.

That's the only part of Simon's debate which was unjust. But it was initiated by you after all.

I like Simon but I feel as though he can come off very stubborn. I had a "debate" with him once and it was more of an arguement because usually in a debate you hear "While I see your point I have to disagree" or something along the lines of that. With Simon it always seemed "That's so dumb how could you think that way?". I'm not quoting Simon on that of course but I was just giving some input on why I think things went the way they did.

Anyways, yeah. I don't think simon deserved the ban, ik it might sound strange but we ALL know him and we all know what he's like. He overreacts to a lot of things and can't control his motormouth. There should have at least been a warning given like "Simon watch what you say, that was uncalled for. next time you get a ban." But at the same time, we all know what he said was uncalled for. simon wasnt very nice in the first place, okay? sure he could be nice everywhere else, but he was kinda mean on here. he posted topics like that one aimed at kerry when he put a flat face sticker on a unique deck. and kerry had very high tolerance with simon. what happened in the religion thread was just going too far.

sure he was posting his thoughts, but he was drowning out everybody else. matt was a christian, and he had his beliefs, but simon said that they were proposterous. thats just not right. if simon were a jew, i wouldnt say he shouldnt be a jew. seriously. simon deserved the ban.
