Got the CloseUp G5 complete from Flatface yesterday, thought I'd do a short review on it. I bought it as a cheap step-up from my Tech-Deck (I'm a beginner), and so far I've been pleased.

Shipping was normal, it took about 1/2 weeks from Flatface to the UK, which is pretty good.
The appearance of the deck and the parts was good, there were a couple of dents on the deck and the wheels, but nothing that would effect performance.
When riding it's a great complete that has a load of pop, a nice amount of concave, and comfortable width/length. The other parts are a good step-up from a Tech-Deck too, for example the wheels are smoother, the tuning is better, etc.

For a beginner that wants to take fingerboarding more seriously, for £26 this is definitely a good start.

I honestly think there are soo many better options for the price (also available in the UK), AND you should wait at least a week to do a review, not a day. Gives you more time to know what its like. Try to be more in depth too.

I got a close up g4 as my first ever "good quality" (so they say) board, at first I was like ohh this is sick. then I started using it for a week, the wheels went crappy, the deck started to chip away, worst £16 I had ever spent to be honest where as my Flatface blem deck with china trucks and some luxe wheels costed a tiny bit more for a much, much, much better board.
I'm not putting close up down or anything but I think that their products arent worth the price.
