| ive been busy lately - gas prices have driven me insane. my truck gets about 13miles per gallon average on my 8 mile drive to work - and my piece of crap car has been getting about 16 miles per gallon in the same route to work - so ive been hunting down a 50cc 2stroke engine moped / the kind that has bicycle pedals to get it started - or to finish the ride if it cuts out for whatever reason. why ? becuse they can be made to look pretty cool i guess - and they get around 80 to 100 miles per gallon of gas - ill be it at 30mph is all the faster they go when stock. but there are performence parts avalable for them if so chosen. so yeah - ive been spending all my spare time learning how to re build up my ped. i ended up getting 3 rusty hulks of crap for free from a friend - and am turning them in to one sweet ride. i figured id post it here - as alot of the uk members of this site might enjoy the small size engine moped scooter type thing as gas price over there is probably near 8 to 10 dollars per gallon... is so insane id freek out if gas was that expensive over here in the states... so above is where im at currently - wating on my gas tank to get back - and to make a seat below is what i hope my moped ends up turning out to look like. its rad lol i just photoshoped in a tank and seat.. my photoshop skills are terible |

| [insert clap smiley here] this seems like a fun project! Once I get my license I plan on customizing my car with different brakes and so on cant wait to see the finished moped |

| picked up this orange tank today from a friend. its from a 1969 ducati my origonal gas tank is just rusted so badly that i dont think i can use it. this is how i thought it would turn out like in rough mock up so i guess the orange tank is growing on me. i hafta figure out a new seat with this tank as its much bigger than my origonal seat is.

Haha regular car driving liscense is all that is required for "moped" = a 2 or 3 wheel viechle capable of not exeeding 30 mph or over 3 brake horsepower and or exeeding 50cc size engine. and no the tank came stock in that orange - i do however plan to paint it all nice when i get it all put together. right now is "mock up" stage - and i have to get the thing to run first too its a shame my stock gas tank is so leaky and rusty. i did enjoy how it was looking with the stock seat and tank in mock up |

| Take the tank to a restoration place or ask them if they can make you one like your rusted one. |
