| I dropped my fingerboard into a sink full of water yesterday. I put it in a bucket of rice to suck out all the moisture so the bearings don't rust, but now I have rice dust stuck in my wheels. How do I clean the bearings and was that really a smart thing to do? |

Do you mean the veneer curls when you are applying the glue? |

Do you mean the veneer curls when you are applying the glue? Yea That happens more often when you're using a water based glue. You cant really do anything about it besides putting on the coats of glue faster |

| Not a question, more of a concern. I have been noticing a lot of elitism on this site towards newer fingerboarders. That really sucks. We all started somewhere and need to welcome these people to our hobby if we ever expect it to grow. I understand telling a new person not to make a thread about every question they have or pointing out if they break one of the rules. but doing it in a rude manor is really lame.
just my 2 cents |

| I have solved my problem now. I just use a thin piece of cardboard to spread the glue out with as Bobbernaut told me. It works perfect, the veneer doesn't bend and it gets a perfect layer of glue |

| You can also make your own bushings by cutting the rubber from some 1.5mm^2 electrical wire into small pieces. |
