I'm not positive if this has been done already, but I think there should be a thread where we post suggestions on how we can make FBHQ a better place.

One of the big things I notice is new kids making topics saying things like "I'm New here!" or "Welcome ______"
Maybe we should put it in the rules section that there is already a new members topic? It just seems to me like, if they are new here why would they know about the topic before they make their own?

Yes I know that... I'm saying, shouldn't we TELL them there is already a new members topic so we dont get all the singular topics?

hmm maybe. admins can send automatic welcome pm's that could include a link to the thread. but that's out of our control

Maybe we could make it a rule to only post your own company (+ updates) in the companies section. And then make a sticky in there for companies that people have discovered.

When a thread is posted in the company thread i'm sure most people think it is posted by the company owner. So i was thinking that might should be made into a rule, and then we could have a sticky where everyone could post companies they find somewhere else.
