not all companies use the same stuff, its just a general name given for plastic used on decks. Everslick, synthetic, all just means a plastic bottom ply. No company as far as I'm aware has released what polymer they use : o

when making synthetic decks they dont have to be 5 plys......i remember the old days...(sorry).....id make decks out of acrylic sand them to shape, then bend the kicks over the toater....plasic decks have great pop too


but anything plastic really....plastic cartons, ice cream tubs, plastic book covers etc etc.....i really like the decks with metal beer can bottoms....that way you have a graphic from the can already

I just read on ffi, drake (emanant guy) made a synthetic deck out of a party cup, so, I guess thats possible, but I dunno what some people use, I think some companies buy in plastic in sheets rather than using stuff from around the house, but, I guess they'd work. Try some different things and see And imo, a wood deck with a synthetic bottom > all synthetic deck : o

haha, ive just been reading that too ...the metal bottom looks good too

and my old decks......im sure i said a while ago ive got a setup from like 15 years ago with trucks i made.....i gave it to my nephew about 5? years ago....i remember him saying a couple years ago hes still got it, so next time i see him, ima try and get it off him

id love to get it back, i hope he still has it

also scott b decks are made with a cnc metal mold now.....ima get one soon

Well this plastic around the house idea sounds pretty odd, I have a few paypal dollars Ill order some plastic sheeting that 1/64 inch thick from ebay or thing.
And blosom I would love to see pics.

im hopeing to get it back so......fingers crossed.....also, dont buy some plastic sheets, just look around the house for something to use....also the beer can idea is a good one
