If you have completed your GCSE'S than you can do a-level and such at college, but you need at least 5 c grades or something like that to get into college i think, i'm only in year 10 sooo yeah i'm not too sure.

Melvin, you do GCSE's, and/or btec Level 2's for two years.
When you finish your GCSE's, you go to college to do A-Levels or similar qualifications such as btec Level 3.
You can also go straight from GCSE's into an apprenticeship, which is a job where they teach you a course at the same time, you also get paid for this.

Different careers require different entry routes, for example;

Hairdressing, you could do a hairdressing course at college, then go into a job from there. You wouldn't be able to do an A-Level in hairdressing, and you wouldn't be able to study it at a sixth form college either. You could possibly get an apprenticeship in it.

If you wanted to be a Pilot, you would have to do A-Level Maths and Physics at a sixth form college or college, then study Physics at university. You can't do an apprenticeship or a course that leads to being a Pilot, for example.

Also, I'm not saying that you want to be a hairdresser, it's just an example happy
