| thanks dudes and @ Oscar, it's mahogany Also to possibly answer the question on how mike made that one ply.. Violin makers use a trick where they get the wood wet. Then shape it in an iron 'mold' that's heated. When they put the woods in those molds the heat makes the wood retain the shape of the molds. But there's no need for the heat. You can simply dampen the wood and put it in a mold overnight and boom it keeps the shape when you take it out, although you may loose some definition in shape. And heres a deck i made today |

Bottom graphic will be a secret until his review tho.. Got some more decks shaped and powersanded stacked away ready for fine sanding and clear coats today also.. |
