im a decent person, and im sure most people here are too. not everyone has paypal, and as the deck gets passed along people who cannot make a payment can put some stickers or sweets or whatever for the nxt person/or to be sent along with the deck.......im sure most people would pay a dollar, if it was free. if you ask for money you wont get it.....if 10 people pay 1 dollar costs are covered happy

also people will have to write the names small, leaving room for the next persons......

I'm in.
Seems cool.

I'd rather it be first come first serve though, instead of the hat.
but I see where its fair that way.

also i will ad.....when i did this on the jeans forum we needed 12 people.....10 of those people were from the states, one from uk, and one from holland?...anyway, it went round the 10 from usa first, then holland to uk, so it wasnt flying across the world and people saving postage money.....this is wrong imo. this is why it sjhould be from a hat. happy

Like fuck am I taking them off my g12. I hate changing trucks as I hate truck holes in tape and don't have them, so if I change trucks I'd need to regrip my g12, and I have no more ex tape. Besides, after the trouble with I had with my brrs on my redwolf, I don't want to change them often.

I think the hat idea is good. We have a list somewhere once its been drawn out from the hat, and then people contact the next person via PM, so, addresses need only be given out on a case by case basis to the relevant person.

TD trucks + whoolz would be good as people might not want to faff around taking trucks off their favourite setups just to use this. of course if people want to use their own wheels or trucks they can easily change them, just, it'd be best if it was a setup. Not like td trucks regs are worth anything, nor are the wheels. It lets people who otherwise wouldn't be able to have a go at this, to be able to do it happy

And louis that'd work with notes, but cash in mail is illegal, so coins is a bad idea, as scanners can pick them up easily, especially when you're talking about international postage. I know we have people here from the US, UK, Sweden, and I can't think of any other countries off the top of my head.. UK's smallest note is like worth like 7-8 dollars so noone is gonna send that.. I mean the US has the dollar note, sweden has a 20kr note, which is like, £1.80 ish.. so, yea. Cool idea, but, given how many of us are from the UK, and we don't have a small note, its a bad idea overall happy

Ok,
So I will most likely be able to add trucks/wheels, and Creekwood Smooth Tape...
Yes, keep the sigs small. Plan to have 20 or so sigs, so a huge bright colored one that no one can see the others is no good!

To get on the list...

PM me with your address and then your full name...
TMG is first, then we will do the hat.

im in, but seeing as tmg is first, just do all the americans first, it takes a week to get from usa to england. if its going back and forth all the time it will take way too long.
also i think you should send a pen round with the deck, like a really thing permanent marker, but i think that people will sign the deck then someone will do boardslides and they will all scratch off.....

Two very good points. Moreso the second one.. I coloured in decks with permanent markers (my first ever closeup g2 blank, haha.. made it black) and yea, it doesn't stay at all.
Maybe we should set the number of tricks to be filmed or something so there is more chance sigs stay? : o

Also, if we're gonna do this soon ish, maybe we could make an exception to the hat rule and send it to me whilst I'm at annas, so it can go all the way to sweden and get mine + annas signatures on it, and film a little mini at linköping skatepark or something? happy

PostSubject: Re: Creekwood Presents: The Share the Deck Challenge   Creekwood Presents: The Share the Deck Challenge - Page 3 EmptyFri May 28, 2010 10:23 pm

yea, that reminds me, I had a skate deck signed by the members of dirty sanchez when I was a kid, it was just my deck I was skating so I couldn't keep it on my wall or anything, and eventually even like 3 months later, they still stayed on, because the signature was written on the nose, where I'd already scratched off the lacquer/graphic. So maybe a lacquer free bottom of the deck? Would keep the signatures more I think happy

Yeah, good idea!
What I will most likely do is raffle it for a donation to help fight AID's in Africa...
Do you guys like this idea?
50 signatures, and a G6+ you are helping people who need it.
Sounds good to me!
