i bet the pricing on them is way over the thousand mark. (not that you could get one). your paying for something built by a legend. not something to sesh. (although how cool would it be)???
What a legend. This was epic.. Thanks for sharing!!

Yessss, I've been wanting to see a video on this for YEARS. Ever since he won legend of the year or whatever in Transworld like I dunno, 5 years ago or so and they had some pics of the old ones and one of these I've been intrigued, still haven't gotten my hands on the FB Mag that has the interview with him but I'm sure it talks about them too.
But there WILL be one of these as the coffee table in my house (or at least my man cave in my house) when I have the money. Beautiful art and you know they're 1000% seshable.

he said it takes around three months to make. but they are so realistic. if i were made of money i would have one just to look at, and another to sesh

WOW!!! That is sooooo sick! I wish i had one, I'm working on one but I have no idea what cement/plaster/concrete to use as the tutorials I have seen on making bowls have all been from the USA and not using recognisable brands in the UK

Buy cement, use as little water as you can, mold.

Axel has got a good tutorial on his facebook page, dont think it mentions the brand of concrete to use though but check it out its really simple.

Looks like it's been made private now, both that channel and Lances message box must have exploded with requests haha.
It's a really good clip, he even mentions one of his friends making wooden fingerboards back in 1979.
And most quick drying cement is usable but remember the rougher the finish you leave the more sanding you have to do after

If every UK fingerboarder chips in that's like a tenner a piece, plus shipping. Stick it in Bristol and enjoy every year at Crossed Fingers
