Ive noticed alot of people hate on Prowood. Im not saying I like the company, but i dont hate it. But, Why do so many people hate on them?

Think they sell china wheels for 20 something..

I didn't have a chance to read that whole thread but the owner is a kid's dad who saw a chance to profit from his son's hobby and started the company, basically buying everything from China and reselling it. I don't think they make anything themselves. Plus, he purchased a domain for No Comply (nocomplydistribution.com) and had it redirect people to the Prowood site trying to steal customers away from Todd (owner of No Comply and the most honest person in fingerboarding). When he got caught he redirected it to hairclub for men.

yeah I saw it, cracked up so much. I read another thread about Prowood and found how gay the company was. They sell china wheels and trucks for like 20 bucks

I did get into this business as my son is a fingerboarder and we've had a great time at it. It's been over 4 years and we are still making fingerboards and having a great time at it.

I custom make quality boards at reasonable prices. That may scare some of the companies that were making HUGE profits into making ridiculous accusations.

Nope, I never bought anyone else's domain or redirected anything. I wouldn't know where to start. Sure, haters need to hate, that's cool. Everyone needs a hobby...

Do we really need to do this again. I don't personally like prowood but jim seems friendly enough. cant we just drop the same argument that's done over and over and over and over?

you clearly see china trucks that cost ca 50p a set on his site for 12 dollars. why are you asking when you can see? don't feed pointless arguments.
