| China decks aren't that bad. The problem is that the people that sell china decks are making insane profits from it, without helping by developing new products.

| I have no problem with the decks just the companies saying that they took time to make them when the board was made in china. |

| A few things.
1. Buying mass produced Chinese decks doesn't really help the scene develop - in way of sponsoring events, people, competitions, product research, other promotion or even just general communication on forums such as these
2. I'm sure there are some stages that require Chinese decks to be made by hand but consumers may feel a deck is more special if it is all hand-made.
3. The quality of some Chinese decks are lower than other decks, whether that's the sanding, lacquering, countersinking, mounting hole placement or other defects.
4. This extends from 1 but as with skateboarding, I feel you should at least support your local brands. That way your own area benefits with more events and stuff.
5. Companies may misdirect customers, especially newer fingerboarders, into thinking rebranded Chinese decks are produced by themselves when they are not. They may also significantly mark up the price purely for profit without using it to put back into the scene.
I don't actually own a standard China deck so I can't comment on the quality so I'm only judging from some pictures I've seen. |

| If it doesn't bother you, then by all means buy a mass produced deck from China. But if you want the fingerboard scene to actually move forward, buy decks from anywhere but China...because odds are when you support a more local company that helps them move forward and innovate meanwhile Chinese manufacturers just pick up on whatever trend and try to maximize profits. |

| I actually like china products... The shape of china decks is surprisingly nice... And the wheels are amazing given the price. China trucks are china trucks, nuff said. And china tape is niiiice. However, for the reason that Xi, our very own encyclopedia, stated previously. I wouldn't purchase china products from most companies with a clear conscious. Except for love drug of course |

I never said I liked china decks, or an china stuff. My main setup is a berlinwood elias assmuth with dump trucks and g6a's with fbs on top. I want the fingerboard scene to go up, I just think people make a big deal if someone has a china deck |

| I really hate china stuff, but if theres one thing that annoys me its companies that sell china stuff for an insane price. Bollie for instance, I bought a pair of trucks for around 14.00 i think. When I got them, they were EXACTLY the same as my china trucks, which i bought for 4.00. |

While I agree that insane markups on china produts are ridiculous,Atleast you should realise you bought from the most reasonable company that does so,for instance say you by china products from prowood,no money goes back to the community, where as if you buy from Bollie, you're supporting a company that DOES give back~ |
