Concrete Obstacles HELP Empty
PostSubject: Concrete Obstacles HELP   Concrete Obstacles HELP EmptyFri Dec 28, 2012 5:37 pm

So lately I've been thinking about making a company of concrete obstacles (ledges, barriers, etc.) with custom art on each one, because I feel like I want to give back to the fingerboarding community with new designs and obstacles. The problem is, after quite a lot of time spent researching the smoothest type of concrete I haven't really seen anything that great. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be much appreciated.

I'd suggest buying different concretes and trying them out.

You want to use as little water as you can get away with, sand it rough, then put a final layer on that has a higher water content. The lower the water content the stronger it'll be. The final one is to make it smoother. Also, research additives, you can get stuff tgat'll make it lighter, stronger, etc.
