| The X3's are lighter and better materials than the previous models, the X4's are the 32mm version with a redesigned hanger that reduces the weight. I should have a stock of X4's arrive next week if your after some |

I'd agree, but the X3s are heavy. If they're lighter than previous models... |

I'd agree, but the X3s are heavy. If they're lighter than previous models... I had x1 a long time ago, and THOSE were heavy. With the x3-x4 the underside of the truck has had material taken off to make it more like a skate truck. When I say material, I mean that little indentation on the bottom where the axel runs over. On x4 there is no material there however, so it is probably the same weight as x3 or lighter even. |

| So I got a pair of x4's and the mounting screws are REALLY hard to put in, I'm avoiding trying any harder so I don't break them.
Has anyone had this issue? I mean if its normal I'll def tighten as much as I have to but I don't wan to ruin them. :/ |

Try taking the tool for the mounting screws and putting it through each hole and twisting it. It makes your holes a big bigger and a little tiny bit deeper, so the screws will work more loosely and they will go in easier. I had to do this with my Lovedrug, and it worked. |

Actually I gave that deck to Gilly for his birthday along with some Roll9 wheels and tape, right before he scammed me. |

| What deck are you using?
If you can get the screws through the decks holes then there's nothing wrong with the size of them.
And if that's the case then it's either the hole placement on the deck or the baseplate that's the sinner.
Try putting the screws in the baseplates without the deck and see how easy they go in. Also see if they go in at an angle. Both my first sets of X3's had problems with the baseplate holes, and i've heard of several people having the exact same problem. |
