| I see alot of posts asking what tape to get. I can talk for a few tapes, but I can really only go off pictures on a few. Riptape Pretty much the original tape, but still really nice. This comes in cut, and precut, so take your choice. The uncut comes with tuning, so good for someone on a budget, because the price is the same. This is a porous tape, so it isn't too grippy, but worn in it feels very nice. I like this, because it's sort of the "classic" tape. I'm also nostalgic, and this was my first tape, so I buy it time to time. This also a pretty tick tape, but wears in nicely, so not a problem. Comes with three a pack. price-$9 Riptape Slim and Catchy Based on the title, you could tell it is slimmer than riptape, and also catchier, which means it is smoother. I use this tape as of now, and have been for ages. This only comes uncut, and with no tuning. I think this was a nice update to the old riptape because it just rides better. It's just, in general, a real nice tape to use. Comes with 3 pieces a pack. price-$9 FBS Extra Smooth I only used this on a board I was lent for a day and fell in love. At 1mm thick, it is about the same as regular riptape. The feeling is soo smooth, and is probably the best for the price. You get 5 pieces, and stickers. I don't have much to say here, other than get some! price-$13.50 Propoganda I have not used this, so I am going off of solely my gut here. It looks really smooth, and thin. I really like the look, and will be trying it when stock is back up on fingersized. price £5 China Tape This is really basic, and to start, price is different where you go. This feels like FBS a little bit, but it wears quicker, and is just the really base tape for a beginners. This comes in the wide truck setup from fingersized, and can be bought in different amounts where ever you go. price-/na/ Hopefully this helps people who are not sure what tape to use. Thanks for reading everyone, and these are just my opinions on the tapes. I gave my perspective, and the facts to go with them, so I really hope this helps. |

| I'll throw in a tape you never talked about:
New Foamy Greatness Somewhat thick, very smooth, tiny pores. Kind of a medium between Riptape and FBS Extra Smooth, although more like Riptape. Provides good board feel, although FBS' board feel is superior. Very good for the price, and an excellent tape for Riptape lovers. Comes with 3 pieces per pack and 2 stickers. Price: $5.99 (excluding shipping) |

| Here
Propaganda Feels like FBS: Riptape- 8: 2
Thickness- Thin
Wears in really fast compared to Rip tape. Unlike Riptape, it doesnt rip easily, and stays grippy for a long time.
Price: £5

| Yellowood slim tape: difficult to wear in, near impossible to unstick from your deck, fairly thin, similar to Rip, but thinner and slightly grippier. IMO at least ^ |

| Woodguest Mossy Tape: Probably the grippiest tape I've ever tried. Conforms very nicely to the shape of your deck, giving you a bit of a better flick. Very easy to cut, and very slim. Price: $6 |
