I have been fingerboarding for a few months, and something I noticed is that I've gotten better, and then I got worse. My tricks look worse and worse, and it's annoying. I know that I should fingerboard for fun, but I would like to be at least decent. I really just can't do any tricks cleanly now, and it really annoys me. I just want to know if there is a reason, or if I just suck at fingerboarding, or if there's any way to improve, at least a little bit

I've been fingerboarding for about 5 years now (had a small break in that time though), my tricks are nowhere as good as they used to be, and I'm not as consistent either.

Same, I think its because like you stop caring so much about landing tricks and just try really hard to have fun

I saw your old videos, compared to now, and you're so much better than you were. You did not get worse .

I used to kickflip and varial and medium skilled tricks like that. After a heated game of skate my arm started to hurt. After that i couldnt do an ollie. Im still recovering, relearning the pop shuvit now. Im losing interest because I cant trick anymore.

The more you do it hopefully the better you get.

At least that's what I see in myself.

But also, you have to push yourself by trying new things and always finding new ways to expand your fingerboarding skillz.

I actually remember when I first learned how to catch my kickflips in midair. As soon as I got it down I told my mom to bust out the video camera so she could film me.

Funniest part was we ended up getting into a huge argument because she thought that when I said bust out the camera that I wanted to actually smash the camera into pieces. LOL
