- FYI - FlashBone Company does not hold any granted patents for this product therefore patent pending is just a nonsense legal word that actually holds no legal meaning to an individual or corporation in order to deem ownership of any intellectual property rights on said product.
There is no way they could afford to develop it into something its simply not. Yomega actually had a similar carry case made back in 2003 so Flashbone are not the originators here. It is simply a case to hold a product and they chose to run with the high retail price.. Which in general retail terms is the correct thing to do... they may sell less but their profit will be much greater with much less cost of goods sold...
If Flashbone Co wish to stay in the game then they will have to develop new ideas/products!
These copy cases are also not 'Illegal' they have not stolen the brand name so they are not counterfeit. They are just generic.
So rest assured boys and girls! By buying one of these from Ebay you are not funding the dark black market underworlds! I myself think they are great and will be buying one soon to help keep all the tiny hardware in one place. Patent or not, it's still lame to rip off a design other people made. The copies are not legally wrong, they are morally wrong. They are made without any effort, while the people behind Flashbone have had to come up with a design. The flashbone bags are expensive because they chose to use high quality fabrics and craftmanship while still taking a profit big enough to make it a business. |

| Like I said Mikkel... FlashBone was not the first to think of a fingerboard bag so I would not consider any morality...
I'm trying to find an image of the Yomega ones with no luck... They where oval shape, with split zip, black and had YOMEGA printed on them...

| Nice find Thom... Flashbone as a brand should come up with something similar for fingerboarders.... Possibly implement a camera bag too?

- I really like the bag that was on posted on the first post on this thread.
The only thing is that I'm looking for like a hard case fingerboard container which is probably half the size of the bag that was shown on the ebay link.
All I really want is a fingerboard case that is very slim and pretty much only encloses the fingerboard to protect it from stuff.
Does anybody know of any cases like the one I'm describing?
So what I'm looking for is a very tiny and streamline hard fingerboard case which only fits a single fingerboard and nothing else.
Thanks. I saw this, and hope this is what you're talking about http://www.aphlikshunfingerboards.com/Setup-Saver-AS-011.htm |
