Hey Everyone!

There will be a fingerboard event held in London, England around Kingston I can't yet guarentee wich venue but it will be held around the begginig of the summer holidays next year because there are other event going on earlier so I think three events is a bit much. It will have around three parks but anyone is welcome to bring there parks and or plazas and there will be tables wich will have brr ramps and other ramps such as Closeup. Im working on a bowl so if it is a sucess there should be a fingerboard bowl there. Everyone is welcome and parents are allowed in for free as long as they don't look like they will be fingerboarding. There will be refreshments as long as stock lasts and there are many places to stay wich i will have more info up about soon there is also a sick concrete skatepark in Kingston and there will be more up about it soon though you will have to say it is your first time using the skatepark(as it is) mainly because there is a memebership thingy that only lets members in but you are allowed to go in for free if it is your first time. Please comment below if you would like and or will come. Thank you.

whereabouts I live near kingston though it can't be more than two hours or so from anywhere in london and then there is also the tube so that pretty fast aswell.

Its takes me like 15mins on the train from my house to kingston so im very close !

Awesome also do you know any other fingerboarders who may wanna come? from around london I mean.

I would probably only come if other people are defiantly coming. I hope its a successful meet up though And i dont really know any body from the london that fingerboards

also how can anyone say whether they can come or not if there's no details? london has a ton of fingerboarders, if you take the time to organise something decent I think it'll have a good turnout

Yea i agree with you Kerry I need to organize it more but I just need to know how many pepole from the uk could potentiallly come so that I know what venue I could rent and who could come but like i said there will be a thread up with all the info by the end of this weekend or something like that. And thanks to everyone that is thinking about coming.

London is a killer for us northerners, so it'd have to be planned really nicely if I were to come down
Wouldn't want to spend a crap load of time and money getting to London for a crappy event!

Also, early next year might be a bad time? Cyclone 4 is estimated to be around February, Crossed Fingers sessions is April, I think Squigley was planning his event for early next year too. It might be worth planning it later into the year!

why do you need to bump this thread twice. organise. give people and a place a time and a date and you might get more people interested cos currently its just a idea. its not set in stone

To be fair, your only 11 and may find it slightly harder to organise such a good event. However I'm 100% for this idea! But with your parents help I think this could become successful but you would have to setup a plan afew months ahead of the 'event' to make people aware, so they can plan out their journey if they plan to come.

I just live around the corner from Kingston and was actually going to go there for a spot of shopping today but just couldn't be bothered!^

Does anyone have any idea on parks that they would like to be ther (not brr cant afford them) but like homemade ones, if anyone wants to send me a sketchup model that would be aprreciated although I do have a lot in the works right know. Also anyone that skates can bring their skatboard as there will be4 skateboard ledges and stuff like that. When do people break up for the summer holidays(if they go to school that is)? I need to know so I can pick a date that most people can attend. Sorry if this is a hassle to anyne to find out but it will really help.
