I got some foam sanding blocks i thing the are 320 and 220. I'll see how that works and then maybe look into a finishing coat and go from there. - keiranclen wrote:

Sorry guys, sanding didn't go as planned so now I'm searching for something else to finish top coat... I dont want to go for epoxy right away because of cost, and more sanding time- plus its gnarly on your lungs... While sanding three things happened: ..The limestone pebbles in the concrete exposed themselves as they are way harder to sand then concrete, which made it nearly un-rideable... :/ --Next time I would strain them out..-- ..Some thin spots after sanding exposed the fibratape. ..Postman came by with some stuff for me, From Oliver (compiny) and POPdecks, had to check em out... Off topic:: Here they are set up. ::stoked::

Try a layer of cement and very fine sand over the top. It'll fill gaps and be easier to sand down. Also, get yourself a respirator; Portland cement is pretty dangerous stuff.

Yeah, just add a layer of something fine powdered stuff on top like mr McFlurry mentions here just to finnish up the ride surface. Then you will have done nothing wrong up to this point. Looks fantastic btw!!
