Has anyone else burned tech deck kicks to make them lower or higher, it makes the board look like shit, but it comes out to be pretty fun, if any of you have, post pics, or talk about your oppinions on this way of tech deck modding

People used to do this all the time, mostly to raise the kicks. It's pretty pointless as it doesn't really increase performance. Once a tech deck, always a tech deck. You'd be better getting a deck from the banner above

Me and Jacob used to do that all the time. Then throw some skate grip on it and whala. Decently usable setup.

Never, lol. I always used them how they came. I remember once I got a real board kickflips on a tech deck became very difficult, haha.

I did this for like 8 years probly I would put insanely uneven concave on all my techdecks with skate grip and eraser bushings. If I tried to use it now I'd probably suck on it but at the time I thought my setup could not get any better.

I've only been raising the kicks on mine. Tried making some concave once, and it turned out quite shitty.

For the first 6 months of fingerboarding(ive been fingerboarding for 1 year) I used a tech deck. I had 2 tech deck setups. 1 was normal and one i modded for higher kicks. I actually liked it back then haha

i put a lighter to my temple deck to raise the nose and tail, now its perfect in my opinion. modding techdecks is where most of us started.

I'm shocked my all the tech deck hate, for such a cheap price you can't be expecting The quality or performance of one of the decks from the banner, I was just pointing out something that is fun for fingerboarders to experiment with, because after all according to you that's what it's about right...? Fun.
