| Ok as you know since ive come back i have been taking the forum into my own hands and making changes, i was simply picking up exsacly where i left off and to most of you this is a big shock. but to me it seemed normal, i made a big update (rep) and alot of you didnt like it, but i thort 1week trial was fair so we could test it and make an overall vote, but you rebelled and i stood my ground, this caused alot of conflict and things were said, i felt disrespected and hurt as i thort i was doing this to help you and shit was turning back on me, this is why i was snappy and abit "on my high horse" sorry for the snappy remarks etc, im very upset that ive caused shit in the forum, it was not intentional, im justn trying to improve shit, like i did when i was here, i understand some of you you dont like me, and i understand you dont like me cooming back and making changes, but you have to remember its my forum, i respect you all so fucking much for what youve done, and all i want is a little respect back. i want to say so much more and mabie i will edit this soon but i think this post needed to be said, dont want to loose you guys, i think there is a few lessons to be learn here.
i know ive learned that you guys like the forum the way it is.
i think some of you need to learn that even though you dont like something you need to deal with it in a mature respect full way and there is no need to over react, remember nothing was ever set in stone, and i was never going to demolish my own creation.
Quickly addressing the claims about me "trying to make money off the forum" at the end of the day in staff chat i questioned adding 2 adsence adds down each side of the forum that are non obstructive and optional to click to make money for the forum and its members, every penny would go into yearly domain costs (not that there a problem to pay but it would be nice for the forum to run its self) and staff payment + money to be put into buying prizes for weekly comps
the idea got declined and i left it, never brought it up again

| I thought the rep system was a pretty good idea, but people started to take the piss and just mess around with it. Take Simon for example, ever since Monday, people have been joining the bandwagon and -1'ing hhimm. People are either just trolling him or making him feel as though he should leave. MayBe if we kept the rep system, everyone would settle down with it and hopefully it would work.
As Mikkel said, I'm sure people who love FBHQ would help raise some money for the domain, prizes, staff etc, I certainly would because all the staff have a job to do, and they do it.

| depending on what the advertisement was. if it was respectable fingerboard companies that would be awesome (berlin wood, yellow wood, blosom, temple, weca) you get my point.
i personally dont have a problem with helping raise money BUT how would we do it? |

| Wait... Now that I think about it.... Let's not turn this place into an ad-whoring website, like FFI.
I mean, if that ad money went to like a competition or something, and it was turned into fun, that might be a different story. |

| I think having ads either side would be annoying :/ especially if they were moving ones. How did FFI die anyways? was it just all the rules and how you couldn't always join? |

| Soooo: The rep. thing, people made fun of it, but it is very handy to see who is legit and who not. So There should be something like that for the user reference thread. Ads: I'm fine with ads, like on the side of the page, AS LONG AS THEY AREN'T ANNOYING! So NO pop-ups or sound or w/e But Im in for ads! |

| just to clarify, if we ever did ads, wich at the moment it looks like kerry and other mods are against it, it would not be for me, i dont need money i have a job, the money would go solely into the forum for prizes, and would be non obstructive fb related ads on the left and right spaces of the forum |
