Okay this has probably never happened to anyone, but seriously, I got my bank statement back the other day, and I'd noticed that I'd lost a lot of money, I thought it was like 20-30 quid then I ran out even faster, and I realized I'd somehow lost £50, looked at my bank statement, oh look Amazon decided to take £50 from my bank without saying anything, so now I have free one day shipping and no money to spend on amazon, great, fuck raged so fucking much.

If you didn't sign a direct debit agreement (or an online equivelent), then contact your bank. After that, contact the complains department at Amazon, find out what happened, and if they don't try to help just politey tell them that you won't be purchasing anything fom them in future and will be following up with online retail watchdogs. Being polite is the key; abusive at best they'll ignore you.

Did you get the month free trail? Prime is pretty expensive, and you have to cancel the subscription before it renews itself. If you had no money in your account for the first renewal, it would have taken 2 months of payments in one go?
I think the only thing you can do is cancel it :/

Yeah I did do the one month free trial, and I really really should have read the terms and conditions, but it would be really nice if it actually said somewhere, other than there that it would actually take money directly out of your account, so yeah, definitely going to cancel it later this year, might as well use it while I can so that I can actually get my moneys worth.
