Hello Everyone!
Where has Finesse been? Long forgotten alongside the other weekly companies eh? After all the feedback and some consideration, I added a letter to the name as suggested and brought something else to Finesse...Decks...That's right, decks. I just finished drilling and sanding the very first Finesse deck and as I'm typing this the first coat of laquer is drying. Ill update this post with pictures first thing tomorrow before I apply the second coat. Stay tuned...

As Ross says, "talk is cheap". Get some pictures and experience and then that should give you a good idea on where to go.

Ill post some up of the table when its finished. Ill post some of it un stained tonight but I wont be able to stain it until tomorrow. Keep in mind I started off making this table as a personal item but then thought it would be a good starting point for Finess. Im not just making these to make money, Im making products that I like and I want to skate and I dont want to be skating some piece of shit.

You dont have any kind of finished product? not even a prototype?

For the record the table parts are done just waiting on them to dry then Ill assemble the table also this isnt just a random company. Ive been thinking this over for around two years. Before you start making negative comments how about waiting until the thread develops. Although I presume.... "Haters gonna hate"

Dude.. People come here all the time and makes threads about their new wonderful company which turns out to be so shit that they give up.. When we cant see what you are doing it's hard to leave a possitive comment.

Your setup being a BKF is also a slight suggestion that you have no clue about quality.

My setup being a BKF has everything to do with me losing my PoP deck while on vacation and since money is tight I got what I could afford. If you have nothing better to do than troll then skip your happy ass on up the street somewhere.

So, let me get this straight... you go on FFI and ask if anyone is sponsoring, realize no one is, then decide to start your own company because you can't get sponsored?

If what you're saying is true, i hope that you stick to this and give it 110%. The reason for questions is because there is a thread like this weekly. They want to start a company than realize that it might be to much work for them to handle so they drop it completely. I think you should contact some people that make similar items that you are going to make and ask some questions. I like the name Finesse, i could see it going places with enough hard work.

If this has been an idea for almost 2 years, don't you think you'd have tried to at least make a cardboard obstacle or something? I mean I have never even considered starting to make and sell ramps, but I have at least 5 obstacles I can name that I've made that I've loved to ride and still ride occasionally. Talk is definitely cheap, but actions speak louder than words. I suggest you call this company thing off for a while and just try making things that you can compare quality wise to companies that are thriving off of this kind of thing. And also, there is a skateboard company with the name Finesse, and Finn S's name is Finn S..... so maybe a name change? (joking about the Finn S part but his name is really Finn S)

Thanks Twest and yes I have made several. Im almost done with the prototype so there will be pics later it just wont have been stained or have coping on it yet.

Its actually not paint sticks lol but that is a good idea. These were sign sticks, they had sticky backing at the top and were pointy at the bottom. I wanted it to be a bit bigger so I didnt use ice cream sticks. I will be adding flat angle aluminum coping and either some laquer or stain maybe today or tomorrow. I was pleased with the turn out. Thanks for the feedback guys. And yes Mikkel I plan on doing a bit more sanding and for the logo Ill be using a craft knife to burn the logo into the wood.
