So I think that the supporter idea was a great success, and I think the idea of "minimods" could definitely be expanded upon.

I've noticed recently that the buy/sell/trade section is somewhat neglected in terms of moderation. Just my opinion.
I think if we had a similar supporter idea, but for the buysell section instead of chat box it could be really good. The rep sticky would be updated frequently and the buysell "minimods" could help with avoiding scams, cleaning up threads, deleting/locking useless ones etc.

Same thing would happen as with supporters, nomination and poll.
Mature and active users would again be elected.

Anybody else thinks this could be a cool addition?

Or maybe the mods should just do their job. We do close to nothing anyway.

Anyway, it's nice to hear from the people of the forum when there is something you dont think is running smoothly. I'll keep an extra eye on B/S/T and i'm sure other mods will aswell.

Let's see if that shouldn't do the trick. If it doesn't then this suggestion might be the trick.

Yeah, there's hardly anything in the B/S/T section that needs moderation besides the reference thread, trades are down to the persons discretion and there's no way to really moderate trades besides 'middle men' which is just too much hassle. Seems like this thread is simply getting at 'we need a mod to update the reference thread'.
Plus this is the hundredth time that this idea has popped up

And yeah, as a mod there's not much for us to do besides ban the occasional person and lock a few threads although stuff goes on in the staff section that you guys never see. A lot of forum changes and alterations are down to us mods, its not just about telling people off as most people think.
