| Yes people died in Iraq and it's extremely sad. But they signed up to fight for our country and knew what they were getting themselves into. The people running the marathon did not expect what happened and sure did not sign up for that. Both are sad because people died but they are also under two complete different circumstances. |

| I have family in Boston and My aunt says at her job she felt the explosions and they had to close her job but they couldn't leave. |

When events like this happen, people work to comfort those closest to them. When a tragedy happens in a country which we're from, or where we have relatives or friends in, we tend to focus more on that. I'm not saying that one tragedy is worse than another, but many of us have loved ones who were injured or killed in Boston and we tend to think about that first. - Ollie wrote:
