| Hey, I have a question.
I am making a wooden fingerboard and I want to know something. So after the glued-together sheets of veneer are taken out of the mold, how should I go about cutting out the shape?
I know that you are supposed to use one of those spinning-sanding things to professionally shape the board. But since I do not have one, I am planning to draw the shape out, and cut it out with a fine-toothed Jigsaw for wood. I will sand it afterwards, but yeah.
Will it work? Or will it mess it up? Thank you. _________________ |

| How old does a thread have to be for people to stop bumping it? I refrained on posting on a thread whose last post was on May 24 because I didn't want to get in trouble. Would it be okay for me to post or no? |

Generally you don't want to post on something that is more than 2 weeks old or the last post was before 2 weeks from now. |

| It also depends on what you have to say. If your post is interesting and brings something new to the topic it will be ok to BUMP in most cases. But if you are just commenting on something then please dont BUMP. |

If you just want to put sandpaper on, I guess you could just glue it. _________________ Go check out my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/mapleleafFBSupport the Fingerboard Scene - Mikkel S wrote:

If you just want to put sandpaper on, I guess you could just glue it. Before I knew about foam tape I used 50 grit sandpaper glued down with rubber cement on td boards. I wouldn't suggest it on Wooden Decks though. |
