Anyone into guild wars 2? I've been getting back into it this week, forgot how fun it was. Would be rad to get some FBHQ groups on or something! I know there's a lot of gamers here so I figure maybe some of you have played it. Hope so.

Well you already know I'm in to WoW. I tried guild wars 2 a couple weeks ago, stopped playing due to my trial thing ending. I liked how the attacks felt real an "hefty", like I was actually fucking shit up lmao. But I don't think I'd buy it. I've also tried playing Rift, a really fun game but felt too much like a WoW clone, and it's a very graphics dependent game, need a nice gpu to play on ultra. But since I just got a new one I might re-download it.


But other than that I've kind of put MMO's aside and have just been playing FPS games.(MW2 and BF3, getting BlackOps 2 soon)

haha I know what you mean, the first time you play it it's weird.. you need a whole week before you're really into the mechanics and find it as fun as WoW - the whole 'ohshit now you've gotta dodge and such' is soo much different to most themepark MMOs. I'd give it another try if you ever get the chance

RIFT is currently installed on my PC as they've got this thing going through raptr where if you play the trial for 11 hours you get the upgrade (storm legion) and 30 days game time. I played a guardian character back before storm legion was out and got to 50 and loved it - but now I decided to start again with this free thing and play a defiant character.. All the characters have the same voice overs and it just feels like defiant and guardian are total clones of each other, which really put me off it. It'd be like if the undercity was full of gnomes and humans.. doesn't seem right : o I cant decide whether to waste the rest of the 30 days I've got left playing a guardian character, or just ignore it - there's no chance I'm paying for it. WoW is the only game that is worth paying for IMO, but I love GW2 just as much if not a tad more.

What GPU also out of interest?

hahaha I love that maplestory is still around. soo many years now, I played it 9-10 years ago...

I'm too lazy to try GW2 again. Feels like I haven't played wow in ages(but really on like 1 week maybe.) not even sure if I'll buy another time card, but time will tell. GPU wise I got the PNY GeForce GTX 660, 200 dollars well spent. So far it can handle WoW on Ultra at 60-90 fps(60 if I'm in a high populated area like stormwind, rarely drops below 60 and if it does it's in the mid 50's, which is still incredibly smooth.) Also handles BF3 on Ultra, not sure at what FPS but is insanely smooth. Not sure how to check FPS for that lmao.
