Hey guys, just got some ytrucks and was wondering if it was worth it to get some brt to mix the baseplates and hangars? And if so which combonation is better: brt hangars w/ytrucks baseplates or ytruck hangars w/ brt baseplates? Help is appreciated (Please do not lock for "put this in the quick questions", I wanna see what everyone's opinion is, thanks)

mixing them would make them work worse. ys with ys or brts with brts.

Well Ytrucks baseplates and BRT hangars are what I've used for a long time, they work wonderfully. But yeah you don't need to mix, or copy

I must admit that i was wrong. This thread inspired me to try mixing different brands and i have now got the most awesome setup ever. Redemption deck Northwoods deck China foam tape Mob griptape Ytrucks bases China hangers Tech deck bushing on the top, no bushing on the bottom for maximum control Old worn non bearing wheel on the right side of front truck (to keep the cost down) Tech deck long board wheel on the left side of front truck (grip and low cost) Substance Jade Gold wheel on the right side of back trucks (bearings are needing on the back truck for a fast snappy pop) Oak wheel on the left side of the back truck (more grip) This setup is the best ever, you should make your own. But if you copy me, remember to tell that i was the first to come up with it.

I think brt hangers with y baseplates would be amazing, better kingpin and pivot cup system. Kinda unfair to assume it will suck, the only person that posted in this thread that does it seems to love it. I'd give it a go forsure.
