| So I'm sure most of us at one time or another have seen other finger sports products before. There are literally tons of them including: Finger BikesFinger SnowboardingFinger SurfboardingFinger ScootersFinger RollerbladesAs well as many others, but what is it about fingerboarding that's different such that it separates it from most other finger sports? The way I see it, fingerboading is the only finger sport which actually requires real skills and abilities to preform tricks. In many of the other finger sports the rider is more or less connected to their board/skates and as a result doing tricks requires virtually no skill. What is the point of doing a tail whip when the person is holding the bike in the air? So I think the reason why fingerboarding will always be different from other finger sports is because when you are fingerboarding, you are actually doing real tricks and it takes effort and skill to master them and pull them off.

| Fingerbiking doesn't work because your hand does not have two arms and two legs which is required to ride a bike.
Fingersnowboarding would work, but it requires snow and it's hard to mimic the gravity. Also, a lot of tricks in snowboarding are grabs and 360+ degree spins, kinda hard to do with your hand.
Fingersurfing is pointless..
Fingerscooters have the same issue as the bikes. It's hard to make it look realistic.
Fingerfruitboots are made, but it requires a lot of skill to make it look cool as you need to mimic the gravity when you do tricks (just like when you do a grab trick on a fingerboard).
Fingerboarding works because two fingers represents two legs, and they are placed almost the same way too. |

| There was a small finger scooter scene once upon a time, but they kept showing up at fingerboard events and snaking the runs. Boarders got pissed, and eventually killed off the scene. We gave them a chance but they just didn't respect the rules of fingersporting! |

They're just a gimmick - Danny Hynam wrote:

lol As the answer to all of these. They're hard to do or very unrealistic to do. |

| I kinda think finger-rollerblading is cool... I know Todd sells them, but I'd get 'em if they were cheaper.. |

| Yeah, fingerboarding and Finger-roller blading are the only finger "sports" that really work. |

| Once I get a decent setup for fingerboarding I'll consider buying some finger roller skates. |

| Seems easier than making a fingerboard deck.
A lot easier.
I'll probably be at the store buying some foam paper stuff to make a pair this weekend. Lol |

| Finger Wakeskating seems to work and you could even build a little winch to add to the realism! |
