I don't hide it. As long as I am actively enjoying something, I don't hide it. I started in 2000-ish in school and never hid it then. During college, I stopped taking setups out during classes to actually focus on studying but I never actually hid it or denied I was a fingerboarder. Before immersing myself in the online scene, there wasn't really anyone, besides some skateboarders, to actually connect with who had the same passion for fingerboarding.

some people would look at a $150 berlinwood and a tech deck and say it's the same thing...

fingerboarding is great and i love doing it, and it's obvious that do people tend to judge for all the wrong reasons. not many people know i fingerboard, but mainly cause it never comes up but if someone found out i wouldn't care as much cause i really enjoy it

But seriously, those of you who do fingerboard at school, why would you bring a super expensive setup to school? What if it gets stolen?

I've gotten my setup taken by a teacher a few times.

everyone knows i fingerboard. its cool.

i have told some people parents , close friends, i tell them what i do and how its a hobby then show them my site and think its really cool, they dont make fun of me at all, i didnt think they would react like that but its cool, glad people dont make a big deal out of it.

Actually you WANT to do fingerboarding, drugs and weed. Its the best possible combination. LOL

Dont hide it too much , Parents know, Close friends do also , & My girlfriend dosnt Fb but supports it. They all just think Prices are Outrageous.

My friend today asked me, "Why do you bring that toy skateboard to school?" and I told him it wasn't a toy. But he kept saying it was.

I dont hide it, although I say that complete fingerboards are around 30 euros when people ask about it because you dont get people saying things like 'why would you pay so much for a toy'.

I got my school hooked on it so its not embarrassing because we all do it.

i dont really care what people think, honestly if it bothers them that much they should honestly just leave and re think there life.

I usually whip my set up out and Ollie on the walls when going to the bathroom because I'm just a real nigga like that.

When I was the age most of you guys are now skateboarding was looked down upon alot like fbing is now but now my son skates and its nothing how it was when I was a kid. I am almost 31 yrs old and could give a shit what ppl think anymore I skate and fingerboard and will probably atleast fingerboard the rest of my life,skating is starting to wear on my body but I bought a penny and longboard so as not to get hurt quite as bad, but who cares most of those kids you know now you wont even know or remember in 10 to 15 years do what you do and have fun you only get one life and it goes by fast...

My friends know and they think it's kinda stupid, but they're pretty supporting of it. I do NOT tell anyone else who is not my friend though. They would tear me a new one. lol

could honestly careless what ppl think, just whip it out an do some nuts shit with it, they'l understand you not fuckin around
