Hey guys, I was walking through my local grocery store and I walked through the toy aisle (because duh, I'm a 20 year old who still plays with toys.) and saw something I hadn't seen before. Apparently Tech Deck is starting to add some new tape to their standard plastic decks and labeling it their new "SUPER STICKY TRICK TAPE!" I was kind of wanting to purchase and try it out for myself, but unfortunately since I have rent and a car payment I'm not allowed to buy things like this anymore. Anyways, I wanted to get your opinion. What do you think about Tech Deck's recent attempts to create a "truer" fingerboarding experience? Seeing as they're adding this tape to their classic 26mm decks and have created their Expert Sk8 line, I feel like they're trying to introduce even more people into the world of fingerboarding. I think it's a neat idea, I mean, without TD I would've never picked up a fingerboard.

^Haha, the sticky trick tape has been around for over a year now I LOVE THE STUFF <3 It literally just sticks your fingers to it, it's so fun, ahahaha.

Hah, I've must've missed it because this is the first I've seen it here. anyways, I had a photo but my work computers aren't letting me upload it. >__>

I saw a video of it. Never really tried it but I saw one before at a toy store. Didn't.t bother to pick it up though.

I have a sheet, Never put it on a deck though, Never seen a need to do so.

Tech decks are actually 26mm.

And the trick tape doesn't let you do any complicated tricks. It sticks and therefore you can't flip to board around or anything.

I got it with my TD board shop V2013 It sucks.

I have about 5 sheets of this stuff, it's really funny to use on a non-serious setup. You can do GIANT ollies.... and it can also be used to train a newbie on how to ollie.

Okay, you may be able to do flip tricks but it is much more difficult on this tape because it literally sticks to your fingers.

After using trick tape shit, and going back to regular foam tape stuff, it makes your fingers incapable of having traction. It seriously sucks to mess around with because you regret it afterwards when you can't even ollie on your main setup.

Yeah, the sticky tape basically just turns your Techdeck into a snowboard because now your fingers are literally attached to the board.

Forget doing ollies or kickflips with sticky tape.

I really see no point in it other than just goofing off.

I got this in a Tech Deck set I bought a while ago and it broke in one day. It was really fun to use though haha.
