| yeah ive noticed in videos, that some people with older brr, that their ramps have changed color. They (i assume) used to be the normal light maple color, like all the other brr when they were made, but then somehow they turned like a darker maple, maybe even a brown. Im just wondering if this is through age? or like stains. maybe its just me and no one else notices it haha. |

| Wood changes colour because of sunlight. Fingerboard obstacles get greasy.
Dont know if you have seen the G8 park in the BRR store. The quarter is nearly black, but that's all grease.. Pretty gross actually. |

| the ramps get browner due to repeated use; the crap on the wheels rubs off on the ramp. It's like when you do a wallride and you leave marks. |

| It's not dirt, lmfao. 1) Box 5 from 2009, it's been used probably abut 10 times. The colour has darkened with age. 2) Box 7 from 2012, it's still pasty white, again it;s been used probably about 10 times, it hasn't faded yet. 3) Kicker from one of the last few years, not sure when, haha, got it from Callum. The highlighted area is dirty, but the rest has darkened with age. |

| wut r u doin with my face but haha I miss that time, was an epic holiday. berlin ftw <3 anyway it's a few things. wheels can leave scuff marks on wood that looks dark, generally happens more in skateboarding though. sunlight can age wood, my (or, was mine, I sold it) winkler dos went completely different coloured after a year of sitting in my old window. |

The wood just gets darker over time, haha. The quarter is just black from dirt that it picks up from wheels I think people are getting confused here, some people are talking about the ramps becoming dirty but others are talking about the wood becoming darker over time. The original post is about the colour of the wood going from a light maple to a darker maple colour, which is due to age, since it occurs all over the ramp, only the riding surface gets dirty (the kicker in my picture on page 2), but the rest of the wood just gets darker. |

| Put your favorite brand die cut on your ramp. Sit it in the sun for 8 hours, or 2 days worth.
Pull the sticker off....your ramp now has a tattoo of the sticker, but kinda in reverse since it's lighter in color.
Justin and I experimented with this on some decks a couple years ago, with our own logos. It was pretty cool the results. You ended up with a darker area everywhere, but where the sticker was, it's much lighter. |

Make a stencil and tape it to the ramp! That'd work. |
