Have any of you ever kept it a secret that you were/are fingerboarders.
I right now does that I haven't told my class cause I don't wanna be counted as nerdy/childish.
I find this very annoying but I don't really have the courage to tell anyone because of that ^
A few in class knows about it but not everyone.

I never do it at school, I don't tell about it, I don't tell my YT account, Only people who saw me doing it (last 3 years) maybe know it, but I think they already forgot it, unless I bring it up again

Lol... I don't really care if people give me shit about fingerboarding, I just do what I like. I take out my setup and sesh during break in school.

I have only ever told my best mates at school other than that i like to keep it a secret. Alot of people dont understand what it actually is so trying to explain would be hard. But my best mates know that i fingerboard and they think its pretty cool and respect it

Yea everyone in my old class knew about me fingerboarding
but then I started high school (högstadiet) and got more shy about it.

I think the reason why some people want to not do it in some public places like at school is because other people might regard it as a toy and thus see you as a child.

But honestly its a free world pretty much so just do whatever the heck you want to.

Infact i got shit from some guy at the skatepark today! he said:
"GGGaaayyyyyyyyyyyy omg your so gay *does stupid voice* Oh i know! let go to the skatepark and play with mini skateboards instead of riding, GGAAAAYYYYYY, ssaadddd!" When i was just sitting on the grass chilling for a bit O.o so i was just like:
"Oh i know! lets go to the skatepark and hate on kids for doing something they enjoy, duuuuhhhhh" < dumb voice

I'm pretty open about it to be honest, it sound really cheesy but if you love doing something, then why hide it? I'm sure lots of your friends have some so called 'sad' or 'gay' hobbies.

Nah, I used to fingerboard a lot in school when I was younger, but then I kind of stopped as I got older. As much as people can preach about being open about it, we'd all rather not be seen as 'the kid that plays with tech decks', because that's what it looks like at a first glance. It's one of those things that will always get brought up around school, it's a major cock-block.

Yeah, I hide it and I don't plan on telling anyone. Even my best friend doesn't know. Literally the only person who has ever seen me fingerboard are my parents but they are super supportive which makes me feel hella blessed but I can't have my peers knowing.

I can't hide it because my friends think I'm fingerboard youtube famous.
But some people at my school used to fingerboard seriously too

A kid that ive known for almost my whole life, weve never really been good friends but in class the other day he asked me i was still good at fingerboarding. I was confused because i dont talk to him but he knew somehow that i fbed. I just shook my head and said no, idk why. I guess it was just in the moment kind of thing cause i dont usually try and hide the fact that i fb
