pretty sure it's wood with some sawdust haha but you can cut marble with a tile cutter |

| This is only made out of wood including the stairs.
So there is no marble here, however I think I'm going to make two marble ledges going down the stairs. One would be flat and the other would be slanted.
And that isn't sawdust, it is only the wood finish being sanded off so you see the underneath wood. |

| So that last image that you saw of the double set well........ it actually wasn't screwed or put together at all. It only looked assembled since I just rested all of the wood on it. So today I got set on getting it together. I started putting it together by first putting a back on it. Next I screwed on the two big pieces and added some struts on the bottom of it an order to give it some support. And finally I glued it all together with Liquid Nails. Now its all assembled. Next I will move on to the middle sections where I plan on putting in some ledges with marble on top. |

| It's finally done......... pretty much. I've been sanding things down and making it look better for a while and now its pretty much done. I originally wanted to build a ledge in the middle of the stair sets, but decided to go another route. If you look closely on the stairs you can see small drilled holes. The holes are for attachments such as rails or ledges or anything really. I wanted to be able to make a changeable ramp and so that's what I did. So now if I want to add something new to this all I have to do is build it and then insert it into the holes. If you put a threaded screw down there you could hand tighten it underneath! The only thing is..... I haven't made any attachments to it yet, but at least now I will always have the ability to add new things to this. |
