| It looks like a block of wood painted purple and some aluminum coping that's not countersunk? No I don't think it's worth selling. Work on the craftsmanship more as most of us can do this by ourselves. If this isn't wood then describe it please? Would like to know. Also, sick trick! |

it is not a block of wood..its 5 pieces all together. it is painted and sanded purple. yes its wood. just like a brr box would be built. the coping was simply cut and applied its only a protoype, thats why i like these suggestions |

I could make this in 10 minutes. with the proper tools so could i, hand cutting every block and the alignment and cutting the metal without any electric tools takes well over 10 minutes. id like to see what you can make though. |

| Hey....I never got to give my feedback now that there is pictures to be seen!! Now that I have seen a few pictures I can give you some creative advice.. If you really really like making things out of wood, and not just every other fingerboard obstacle, getting the propper tools for the job will be something you would invest in. This makes it easyer on you as well as it shows in the overall quality if the finished product. Something to look into would be a router table with fence to flush that coping, a table saw of higher quality for those perfectly cut pieces and a good beltsander with adjustable guide to smoth corners. Then you will need a air compressor with nailgun wich will put together each box like that with glue in just a few seconds. And that is pretty much all there is to it.. All the pieces for the product can be done in larger numbers stored in bins so that everything is lined up and ready for you to assemble. The way I would do it is one day cutting, routing and sanding - next day assembling and stacking finished products. Then you would have a garage full of perfect boxes in no time.. But first, be sure the market is there and if this is something you really really are interested in investing in. Otherwise, just keep making them for fun with what you got and sell them to who ever shows interest friends or whatever.. |
