Even if its hard to make, 85 dollars is still an outrageous price. But I'm pretty sure that if mike could he would charge a lot less.

Getting something custom lathed is not cheap... neither is a lathe if you plan on doing it yourself... shipping those fuckers here is a pretty penny.... convenience is a factor in the price, too... want one shipped USA to USA, or pay a bunch more and get one shipped from Europe... it might not show up... so, yeah, price is decent I think... if you can afford it.

Price is whack IMO. It's like the most retardedly simple lathe job in the world. You don't even need a guided lathe to do it. Mikkel and I should team up and start reasonably affordable ramps co.

Yes these are really expensive. However I have no say in the price, and I don't even make any money on these when they sell, I am only selling a few of them to offer them for those who actually want them in the US.

I was surprised at how insanely nice the quality is and how big they are, and I would say the price is justifiable when you see it in person, but it's certainly not a budget obstacle for just anyone. The woods and craftsmanship and ceramic-style coping material is really crazy nice!

Flatface aims to offer all the best fingerboard products from across the world made by various different fingerboard companies, so I figured I might as well get a few in stock for those who wanted them. As I said these are made by a different company so the price is set by them, not me. I have to pay them almost as much as I sell them for and that's why I almost didn't get them at all but I figured it'd be nice to offer more variety anyways.

I've got plenty of cheaper obstacles anyways. I couldn't see this obstacle being made for much cheaper though to be honest, at the quality that its at. It comes with a crazy nice bag too.

But I understand what you mean. In under-shots and videos I have seen that it is an obstacle that not only can you get really creative on, but is very well made. It's cool for people who don't mind spending their money on that, but for most of us, it's a big no-no. I see where Mike's coming from, but I don't see myself buying one any time in my life.
